PROGRAMMING

For campers who want to learn GAME DESIGN, programming is the way to go. But campers may also choose to create drawing programs, sports games, dating surveys, poetry generators — whatever they like!

TIC has taught programming to kids of all ages for 27 years. Kids as young as 7 create their own games, learning very powerful concepts experientially. Kids as old as 16 have fun while getting a jump start on skills taught in college.

We offer LOGO, BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, JAVA or other programming languages, depending on the experience level of the camper. We have a 4:1 teaching ratio, and campers work in pairs on a computer, collaborating to enhance learning. Programming sharpens analytical skills and inspires creativity.
