LOCATION AND DAILY SCHEDULETIC Summer Camp has three locations:
We use air-conditioned classrooms and excellent athletic facilities. You get a carpool directory two weeks before each session. For the dates and costs at each site, click here. * Note: TIC-DC is totally accessible by public transportation. TIC staff, campers and parents are able to ride the George Washington University Shuttle Bus from the Foggy Bottom Metro stop free. If you are interested in this service, please contact the camp to find out the schedule. DAILY SCHEDULE:
In TIC-MD, entering 6th graders and younger are juniors;
entering 7th graders and older are seniors. At both TIC-VA and TIC-DC
the division is between 5th and 6th grades. (We make adjustments to keep friends together at
all sites.)
FIRST AND LAST DAY'S SCHEDULE: Parents bring their campers to Orientation, the first morning of each session, to sign in between 8:00 and 8:30, turn in outstanding forms, sign up for Extended Day or conduct other business. Promptly at 8:30, campers are called into their groups and go off to begin camp! On the last afternoon of each session, parents are invited for Parents' Visiting Day, where they visit the technology classrooms to see their campers' creations and watch the final athletic contests. More information about this will be on this website later under TIC TALK ONLINE.
