Campers are divided into two age groups: juniors spend three hours in technology while seniors are in athletics. The groups switch places after lunch. The schedule alternates daily so each camper starts with athletics every other day. (Juniors are elementary school age; Seniors are secondary school age.) Campers bring their own non-perishable lunches (including a beverage) or order a box lunch. We offer extended day until 6:00pm.
FIRST DAY SCHEDULE:Parents may bring their campers to Orientation, the first morning of each session, between 8:15am and 8:30am. During this time, you can do any needed business (forms, meds, extended day, carpool cards). Promptly at 8:30am, campers are called into their groups (Day 1: Juniors in Technology; Seniors in Sports) and go off to begin camp with their counselor. Parents may stay to ask questions and hear a brief talk by the Director.
Don’t have time? No problem! Please make sure to read through the Parent Handbook, provided in early June to make sure you have all the information to make your camper’s time at TIC the best it can be. The Parent Handbook will also include information about early pickup/dropping off late, carpool procedures, what to bring and other important policies.
Last DAY SCHEDULE:Parents, friends, and family are invited to an Open House on the last day of each session to see the technology projects and final Color War activities. The Open House is usually scheduled between 1-3pm, ending with a Final Assembly. If you are unable to attend, final projects will also be uploaded to our project website for download and sharing. More information about this will be emailed to parents and found on our Blog, The Daily TICker.
cARPOOLS:We try to make things easier on your transportation needs by providing a carpool directory to help you facilitate carpools with nearby families. If you would prefer not to be listed in the directory, please let us know during the registration process. It is a great way to make new friends and allows us to lower our carbon footprint!
