FILMMAKING

TIC's budding movie-makers collaborate to brainstorm and write a script. They take turns directing, acting, shooting, and editing an original short video. Learning teamwork is vital to the creation of a complex group project.

Filmmaking campers shoot with digital camcorders, learn cinematic techniques (such as shooting before a green screen), edit digitally with professional editing software (Final Cut Pro), and take home DVDs of their finished project.

[Campers must be at least 8 years old to take Filmmaking and are limited to two sessions per summer.]
