TIC Summer Camp is pleased and proud to announce that Dan Morais has joined our year round team as the Program Coordinator. Dan graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and is originally from Washington, D.C. He recently moved “back home” after working in Boston in youth development for the last four years. Most notably, he has worked at TIC for the last nine summers, progressing through the ranks as athletic counselor, athletic director, assistant director and spent the last three seasons as the TIC-MD Site Director.
In the off-season, he spent several years as a Program Coordinator for Playworks in Boston. Playworks is a non-profit organization that believes in the power of play to make kids, schools and communities stronger using team building, social development and problem solving skills. During his time with Playworks he won Rookie of the Year in Metro Boston and was a finalist for National Rookie of the Year in 2009.In his spare time, he loves to run and has coached soccer, basketball and volleyball for both boys and girls. Dan is looking forward to looking behind the curtain and seeing how TIC operates on the off-season. He will be providing his vast experience and knowledge with kids of all ages to help enhance the TIC programs, as well as marketing and recruiting staff.
